Can't wait to hear of your exploits
Mate,
I can't wait to read the reports of this fabulous adventure you have planned. It really will be the trip of a lifetime, and the memories will stay with you forever. My only advice is to never let anyone sway you from this dream.
I still think constantly of the 12 months the missus and I had around Oz in a Kombi in 74, and a few more recent trips to the top of WA and QLD.
The real Oz (especially the Outback, and the Top End)is just such unbelievable country. I still have this hankering to get back there whenever the opportunity presents. What I wouldn't have done to have had a yak at the time.
I'm just green with envy mate, so if ya get to Sydney make sure you look me up. Maybe I could show you my slides (yep real slides).
