Heya Cal. I guess it was bound o happen eventually. The seam sealer seems to have worked nicely actually. I also tightened the fins towards the drive, which has pushed the mast into the base f the sleeve better, so I don't think it'll result in any kind of performance issues. I should have paid more attention to what I was doing though. Here's where I need to take a leaf out of Billybobs book, which is to stop, chill out, get everything sorted and secured before even thinking about landing, regardless of how calm it looks.  
 
By the way mate, there's Humpback whales out here somewhere and I'm keeping my eyes peeled for them. I'm still hungry for those photos :-)
