I had an absolute blast on the weekend just past, kayak fishing and sailing out around shark bay, trolling a couple of lures out behind as I sped along the water. Pickings were slim, but the one fish I did catch was a pearler - a formidable 12.5kg longtail tuna, which gave me one hell of a fight. I caught this fish some 5km out, and with the wind getting up for the return journey I had quite a thrilling trip home. Thank god I own an Adventure island. It would have been a challenging task to paddle or even pedal back. Doable, but challenging - not so under sail. Rather than just having to strain I just sat back and tried to contain my cheese-eating grin.

Weighing in at 8 minutes and near 100mb, this clip is one the longest I've made. Its also one of the most entertaining to, so make a cuppa, sit back and enjoy. If you really get a kick out of it, please click on over to youtube (double click the viewing window) and rate it :-)
