Native Watercraft Mariner
Native Watercraft Mariner

The last time I looked into Native's 'Propel' pedal-driven propellor powered boats the models on offer were dugout-style canoe in form. So although they didn't really appeal to me so much (not really a canoe kind of guy), I did like the look of the pedal-powered propellor system. So when I saw a Native sit-on top kayak style yak profiled at Kayak Fishing Magazine I didn't hesitate to click that link. Going from photos and a few minutes of footage alone, I am pretty impressed with the design of the Native Watercraft Mariner and am looking forward to seeing one in the flesh. I couldn't help but think Native are going after Hobie's Pro Angler with this boat so if it ever hits the market in Australia (where pedal-powered kayaking has really taken off) it'll be interesting to see how it goes.
