Whilst I didn't get a chance to test it out for sailing (not quite windy enough) I did spend a couple of weekends getting busy with the Hobie Island tramps, using a single tramp with a single ama, polynesian outrigger style. And oh yeah, I liked it a lot. With a single ama adding a whole 12' square of extra deck space, the tramp adds dimensions to the capability of this yak. I captured some of the benefits of the tramp in this clip, which is worth watching if you're wondering how they fare as a kayak fishing accessory.
