I encountered this pod of leisurely dolphins in Moreton Bay, just south of Bribie Island. The footage is about 1 minute long, and has a few good close ups on a large dolphin that has had it's dorsal fin savaged by something - most likely a shark. Click here if video fails to play

Looks like the videos are working for me now -KayakCallan 15-08-2007 12:36 Nice stuff Good to hear Cal - I'll keep an eye on it all the same. Those dolphins sure did get close. A little later a mother and baby came right up alongside the boat and had a good long look at me. A few of them looked like they'd done 40 miles of rough road. 15-08-2007 17:51 nice vid That would have been fun... I don't suppose you were tempted to dive in with the Dolphins or was that not an option? How far out where you? 16-08-2007 19:36 Ok, I'm really getting envious now. LOL Excellent stuff. ![]() Only registered users can write comments. Powered by AkoComment Tweaked Special Edition v.1.4.6 |
