Bribie Island dolphins PDF  | Print |  E-mail
Wednesday, 15 August 2007

I encountered this pod of leisurely dolphins in Moreton Bay, just south of Bribie Island. The footage is about 1 minute long, and has a few good close ups on a large dolphin that has had it's dorsal fin savaged by something - most likely a shark. Surprised

Good to hear Cal - I'll keep an eye on it all the same. Those dolphins sure did get close. A little later a mother and baby came right up alongside the boat and had a good long look at me. A few of them looked like they'd done 40 miles of rough road.

That would have been fun... I don't suppose you were tempted to dive in with the Dolphins or was that not an option?
How far out where you?
