One for every occasion

When one just isn't enough

I've come to know Coolbreeze, AKA Steve Walton (editor of PC hardware website, LegionHardware ) as a man who doesn't do anything in halves. When I introduced him to kayak fishing a year or so ago, he was hooked immediately. In fact, on our very 1st trip out we did at least 35km - and he was doing it solo in the tandem Outfitter. Steve spends most of his time exploring Port Phillip Bay and Western Port bay in Victoria, and goes to Tathra in NSW at least once a year. And he seems to get a kick out of taking his mates out with him to. So one kayak just isn't enough. I wonder if four will do it?

Above is a picture of his fleet of Hobie Mirage kayaks - among them is the Outfitter he started with, the nimble little Sport, the accommodating Outback and the speedier Adventure. Man, that makes even me jealous!

Observant eyes might recognise the blue Adventure. Yes, thats my old beast and by all accounts, he's having loads of fun with it (and catching some nice fish to boot). Its good to know my old kayak went to a good home. :-)
