The favicon is that little image that appears next to the URL, or address in your browser. It use to be a boring old 'Y' (for yakabout). I've updated that to be the far more meaningful oroborous symbol. It only really matters to readers in that if you have yakabout bookmarked, it will probably still have the 'Y' favicon. For the sake of simpler ID and keeping things up to date, it might pay to update yakabout in your bookmarks. The gear list section has been edited heavily, with all of the camping gear removed and more kayak/fishing specific items added. I've done this to trim the fat, making it more up to date and comprehensive in the process. It's a fairly large list, although it should be noted that I never head out with all of that equipment. Other than the essentials (safety kit, water, communications) I try to only carry out whatever I require for that trip, and little more.
16-07-2008 19:03 Oroborous? It looks like a hoop snake! I updated my bookmark, and still got the 'Y'. Is there something I've done wrong? By the way Josh, I mounted the Ram tube on my Adventure, using the space saver mount. I located it in the area you recommended; in the thin gunwale location between the two larger areas. Perfect! Easy enough to reach, but always out of paddle range! 21-07-2008 14:46 Howdy Ado. The 1st time I loaded the site after updating the favicon it was the same old 'y'. But then I closed down my browser and reloaded it and it appeared. Must have been cached. Is it still not showing up for you? Good to hear the space-saver mount did the trick mate :-) 22-07-2008 08:46 All good now. As you said, I just needed to close the browser and re-open. I do like the new favicon ![]() Only registered users can write comments. Powered by AkoComment Tweaked Special Edition v.1.4.6 |
